- חָסַדI (v. next w.) to be white, pure, charitable, graceful.Part. pass. חָסוּד, fem. חֲסוּדָה, endowed with חֶסֶד, graceful. Keth.17a (in a bridal song) כלה נאה וח׳ handsome and graceful bride. Num. R. s. 12; Cant. R. to III, 10 (not חסידה).
